Objectives of the Fondation Guilé

Business leaders are increasingly expected to behave responsibly and help address the social, political or economic problems faced by the societies in which they operate. This is especially the case for entrepreneurs who engage in regions characterised by political instability, economic inequalities, or cultural differences.

The Fondation Guilé aims to help business leaders conceive and operationalise their corporate responsibility and find solutions to the ethical challenges posed by the increasing globalisation of markets. The foundation helps businesses answer the following key questions:

  • How can enterprises benefit from emerging markets and improve their competitiveness while being ethically responsible?
  • How can responsible behaviour on the management level be transformed in a responsible corporate culture reflecting on all levels of staff?
  • How does the role of executives change in the light of globalising economies?

The foundation cooperates closely with the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest framework for businesses committed to corporate responsibility.
